What Really Motivates Us

Discovery of the Day: Persistence Unlimited, a great blog on goal-setting, led me to a fascinating video on What Really Motivates Us from RSA.

Autonomy-the desire to be self-directed.

Mastery-the urge to get better at stuff. We enjoy the challenge of learning and creating things, and want to contribute.

Purpose-the desire to add value to life with our talents.

I am fascinated by the process of learning to read English and the idea of gamification to make learning fun. Phonics and literacy have become my passion project. I also write about personal development, goal setting, and time management. I enjoy finding great information, combining it in new ways, and packaging it creatively.
