Books that are also films are a wonderful choice for discussions that can help you learn. The nonprofit organization TED has been spreading ideas with short videos (usually around 18 minutes) of amazing speakers since 1984. Some of these speakers have also written books with more information to help you Thrive, Expand, and Develop! A TED Talk book discussion group is a great way to Transform, Explore, and Discover with many interesting topics, including: Technology, Education, Design, Science, Health, Psychology, Communication, Motivation, Happiness, Creativity, Art, Business, and more.
Below is a spreadsheet of TED speakers who are also authors. A link to a speaker page at TED.com is provided when available, which gives information about the person and links to TED talks. In the next column the title links to the book on Amazon. These are affiliate links that may provide a small commission to the Daily PlanIt, which helps to maintain the website. Search for availability at a local library with Worldcat. Links to the video are provided in the final column, when possible at TED.com (which has fewer ads) or if not found there at Youtube.com. The Google Spreadsheet can also be viewed here.
